This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Unleashed (hereinafter the “App”) which runs on iOS devices and was created by Barry Wilson for Opportune Apps, Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) The App is distributed on Apple’s App Store.
- What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
The App uses iCloud to store data and verify users. The App may obtain your iCloud email when you connect socially with other users. Use of iCloud is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the App without an iCloud account. The App also allows you to save information such as your dog’s name, age, and breed and photos which may reveal your own personal information if shared socially.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the App may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of iOS device you use, your iOS version, and information about the way you use the App. This information is never shared and used solely for the purpose of improving the App.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information?
Can other users see and/or have access to location information obtained by the Application?
Location Information
When you use the App, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to display a location map with nearby dog parks and their information. This is the primary purpose of the App. We never share your current location with other users without your permission.
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the App located in your Settings or remove the App from your iOS device.
Since the App is a social sharing application you also have the option to share your location information with others. This sharing is optional and location information is only shared with people you choose and at the times you choose.
Children
We do not use the App to knowingly solicit data from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should [contact us]. We will delete such information from our files.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our App. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 7th, 2016 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified
